It is often written about talented artists that art is in their blood. About those who worked hard and hard on themselves - that the pictures were painted with sweat and blood. Overused phrases? Empty words? The Brazilian artist Vinicius Quesada decided to revive the worn out metaphors. His unusual paintings in crimson tones are painted with paints, literally mixed with blood. It would seem, what do realistic urban landscapes and portraits, pop art experiments and surrealist paintings have in common? Meanwhile, the works of Vinicius Quesada say: "We are of the same blood, you and me!"
It is not only about the style, but also about the fact that the artist makes do with the resources of his own organism, without attracting donors. Moreover, when fans offer their blood to the author of unusual paintings, he politely refuses: "Let them donate, but to blood banks, which need it more than art." Once every couple of months, Vinicius Quesada goes to the hospital for "paint". At one time, about 450 ml of blood is taken from him from a vein - you can draw!
Unusual paintings spoiled a lot of blood for the author. Since March of this year, he took a vacation to take a break from creativity and save up red blood cells. By the way, the work of Vinicius Quesada is not only a bloody mess: the artist also draws with urine, ordinary paints and adds some images (for example, setting charts on TV screens) on a computer.

Bubble film filled with paint. Unusual paintings by Bradley Hart from the Injections art project
Perhaps, there is no such person who could resist the temptation to burst a dozen or two bubbles on the packaging plastic film, which is wrapped in especially "delicate" electronics. The merry bubble madness that has swept the world is sometimes equated with meditation, as the process is believed to have a calming effect. American artist Bradley Hart is also not indifferent to bubble wrap. Huge rolls of this polyester are kept in his workshop
Flesh from flesh, blood from blood. "Bloody" sculptures by Mark Quinn
It is becoming more and more obvious that connoisseurs of contemporary art are no longer just to admire the beauty and grace of works of art - they are more and more thirsty for bread and circuses. Shocking, resonance, strong emotions that will take your breath away. Therefore, it is not surprising that contemporary authors are striving with all their might to get into the "stream", creating creative works one stranger than the other. There are a great many such works in the portfolio of the famous English sculptor Marc Quinn. Wednesday
