The Italian Franco Clun is already 50 years old, in his collection there are more than 100 works, but, nevertheless, he does not consider himself an artist. Perhaps this is modesty. Perhaps the desire to be objective. But fans of Franco Clun's talent do not agree with his opinion. They believe that the author of numerous graphic works can not only proudly bear the title of "artist", but also deserve worldwide recognition.
Franco Clun did not graduate from art school and his profession is far from art. Nevertheless, the Italian manages to say a lot with a piece of paper and a sharpened pencil. The artist himself admits that while drawing, he rests and puts his thoughts in order. Franco Clun recently took a break and did not pick up a pencil for several years. But three years ago, the love of drawing won, and the modest Italian began to create again.
Friends persuade the artist to try to draw a picture with colored pencils (like the famous American Jennifer Healy) in order to add more mood, emotions, color to it, but so far to no avail. Franco Clun laughs it off and says that he sees the world just like that - in black and white.
