For some reason, you know, the house in which we live is sad … Of course, when it is constantly dripping from the ceiling on your head, there is no time for fun. The construction of the Australian collective "The Glue Society" could be a good example of relationships with negligent neighbors who have eternal problems with plumbing. But in fact, the concept project “I Wish You Hadn't Asked” is devoted to a more serious issue - family relationships.

The Australian creative team The Glue Society has built a house with a leaking ceiling for the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in Denmark. Outside, the sun is shining or light clouds are floating, and the people gathered at the entrance to the house are wearing raincoats. It seems to be raining, but not outside, but inside the building.

However, you can risk entering the building without a raincoat - and you will certainly get wet. The authors of the conceptual project made sure that there was enough water for everyone: in vain, perhaps, were they carrying such a colossus from Sydney itself? Every minute 200 liters of precipitation falls in the house. A whole sea of tears. And we mentioned tears for a reason.

One of the authors of the conceptual project “You'd better not ask (a)” - James Dive (James Dive) argues that the work tells “about that moment in a relationship when something irreparable happens or words are spoken that cannot be taken back. And everything starts to rot. It seems that no one has burned bridges either (wet rotting wood does not burn), but it is already clear that decomposition will reach all corners of your castle in the air, and it will smell of swamp rot.

A house designed by Australian craftsmen will also gradually rot. The "Sculpture by the Sea" festival will last another month, and all this time, visitors to the exhibition will be able to observe the decomposition of the exhibit. A nice cozy room in which someone, perhaps, was going to live happily ever after, in some 30 days will turn into a torture chamber for the fastidious.

Do you feel sorry for the beautiful house? And how. But even more pitiful is the rotten hearth that he embodies. An extinct hearth, an extinct look. Water from the ceiling, tears from my eyes. Something has rotted in the Danish state, or rather it will rot within a month.
