It's no secret that a wedding is an expensive pleasure. The desire to make the wedding day special and memorable is reflected in the wallets of the newlyweds. The lion's share of the wedding budget is "eaten" by the bride's dress, because, you see, the list of guests can be shortened, but leaving a woman without an elegant outfit on such an important day of death is similar. For seven years in a row, Cheap Chic Weddings has been running a competition for budget toilet paper wedding dresses. Real masterpieces turn out.
A beautiful dress can be made from anything: even from old children's books, even from newspapers, even from toilet paper. By the way, with the current variety of varieties and the excellent quality of the material, the latter is not at all a problem. Anyone who did not play enough with a mummy in childhood can buy a few rolls of "fabric" in the nearest supermarket and try their hand at the art of gluing and sewing.
The 7th annual contest of toilet paper wedding dresses attracted about a thousand participants. Many of the outfits sent were made so skillfully that it was simply impossible to distinguish them from the factory models.
The contestants were allowed to use an unlimited amount of toilet paper, as well as glue, tape and thread. The jury evaluated the finished wedding dresses according to the originality of execution, creativity, beauty and the use of unusual "fabric".
The Grand Prix (one thousand dollars) this year was won by Susan Brennan from Michigan. In order to create an elegant evening dress, she only needed 4 rolls of toilet paper, glue and tape. By comparison, the bronze-winning dress consists of 20 rolls of delicate material.
