"World's Best Father": a series of funny pictures of Dave Engledow and his daughter Alice

While dad is at work and mom is on maternity leave, she usually looks after the child. She makes sure that the child is fed, washed, disguised, put to bed on time, walks with the baby, plays games, reads fairy tales and sings songs. But sometimes it happens that the father must be left alone with the child … And what comes of this, says the photographer Dave Engledow in a funny photo project World's Best Father, the protagonists of which are himself and his little daughter Alice Bee … Dave admits that he never looked for a career as a photographer, and bought his first SLR camera to photograph little Alice growing up. Initially, Dave Ingledow posted photos from the "World's Best Father" series only on his Facebook page, but this project suddenly became so popular that he had to publish it to a wider audience. It turned out that the inspiration that his daughter gave Dave Ingledow revealed in him the talent of a photo artist. So he and Alice the Bee became famous, and a series of funny photos from the life of dad and daughter became a real sensation.

In these photographs, dad is desperately trying to cope with the role of nanny for the little fidget, but constantly confuses the recommendations left by his wife. The result is like in a joke: "Honey, I did everything as you asked. I cooked the children, washed the borscht, fed the linen." So, little Alice turns out to be in a saucepan with soup, then in a washing machine, shrouded in foam. Instead of a bottle of milk, an absent-minded dad gives the baby a huge chop for breakfast, and then watches in amazement as his daughter washes his glasses, mobile phone and TV remote control in the home toilet. These comic situations will seem outrageous to someone, but Dave assures that his beloved daughter not only did not suffer during the filming, but even enjoyed the process, like a real model. It was thanks to this reaction of Alice the Bee that the series of photographs of the World's Best Father got a start in life. By the way, the mug with the inscription "The world's best dad" was bought by the photographer quite by accident, but it so organically blended into the creative project that it gave the name to the entire series of photographs.

Dave Ingledow's photo project, dedicated to the upbringing of Alice the Bee, is becoming more and more popular, and so rapidly that the author decided to release the World's Best Father calendar next year. You can see the whole series of works on his website.
