A group of architects called PUSHAK from Oslo created an unusual architectural installation "Moss Your City" for the London Festival of Architecture. This installation represents the interior layout of a huge hall, made of … earth, clay and greenery.
The main goal of this unusual installation is to show that in construction it is possible to use not only artificial materials, but also natural ones. Moreover, not only for decoration, but also at all stages of building construction.
The guys from PUSHAK decided to show their idea through exaggeration. They created from natural materials (earth, clay, sand and, of course, moss) a network of partitions in one huge hall.
And it turns out that moss can look quite natural and even stylish, harmoniously in relation to modern design. He knows how to delight and charm. However, this is only one of the endless amount of natural materials that can and even should be used in the construction and decoration of buildings.
