Just a little bit left, a couple of warming events, and autumn will cover us from head to toe. And then winter. Against a backdrop of impending cold weather, photographs taken by Mark Segal of models dressed by stylist David Vandewal. Concept - a girl travels the world and puts on herself everything that she buys on the way.
In general, Mark Segal does not photograph anything! The site is his confirmation. His panoramic photos cause indescribable delight, and each of his collections is worthy of a separate article, be it people, landscapes, interiors. However, fashion photography is one of the most important parts of his work. These particular photographs were taken for the fashion-project “Going places” (in this context - “Trips to different places”). The essence of the concept is in a fairly large number of different items of clothing hung on the sleeves and other parts of the body. And one look at the cost of each item will make many of us, if not all, shudder - about $ 10,000 each suit. Of course, this figure depends on the number of items of clothing, but, nevertheless …
In general, the fashion world has recently often pleases us with various interesting things: there are necklaces-quotes, and outfits made of balloons, and wonderful photos of bright girls.
Mark Segal himself is an extremely interesting person. He gained fame long before this strange collection “I carry everything with me”, back in 1981. This gray-haired merry fellow, somewhat similar to Tom Hanks, has worked in 40 countries, both solo and in collaboration with various designers and art directors. He has been receiving various awards since the age of ten - for a reason he is so happy! However, these works are difficult to judge about his work - it is better to see his panoramic views, which are included in the largest collection in the world.

Why "they carry water to the offended" and what is written with a pitchfork on the water: The history of popular expressions from the past
In the modern world, the bulk of Russian folklore has sunk into oblivion, having remained for the most part only in books, films and scripts for the now popular thematic festivities. But there is also what remains in our life to this day. For example, fairy tales, lullabies, proverbs and sayings. The latter will be discussed in this article, because without them it is difficult to imagine our life. They are used both in oral speech and in writing, enrich and bring color to our language, help to convey our thoughts to
Documentary photo project "Where children sleep" (Where Children Sleep). Everything is relative
Calling children "flowers of life" is already in the order of things, but it is difficult to imagine how different the "flower beds" and "fertilizers" of these flowers can be. The most interesting documentary photography project on this topic was initiated by journalist Chris Boot and photographer James Mollison from the United States. So, they drove around the world, and took a series of pictures, united by the common title "Where Children Sleep"
Everything that I have in life. All I Own Photo Project by Sannah Kvist
Even though people remember from childhood the saying about the curious Varvara, whose nose was torn off at the bazaar, they still want to know too much. About family and friends, about friends and colleagues, about neighbors at the entrance and even about completely unfamiliar people who happened to see in transport, in the corridor of the institute or in the cinema. Therefore, lately, photographic projects devoted to the ordinary life of ordinary people have become so popular: Girls and their rooms, What's in your refrigerator, Where do children sleep and many others
Do not make yourself an idol, and people who disobeyed. Disciples Photo Project by James Mollison
Everyone knows that musicians, actors and other participants in show business have both fans and admirers. Someone does not see a big difference between these two concepts, but it is. The fan creates an idol for himself and loves his image. The admirer is a more adequate being. So, a fan will never rush to the end of the world to attend a concert of his favorite artist, he will not follow him around the cities, making the same tour as a musician … In the end, a fan has his own
"Everything flows, everything changes". Ephemeral beauty in the work of Nicole Dextras
Artist Nicole Dextras is very fond of working with clothes, but she does it in very unusual ways. For example, her work is highly dependent on the time of year and the weather outside. If it's summer, then Nicole goes to the garden, where she picks up weeds and turns them into beautiful dresses. If it is winter outside, the artist takes ready-made clothes and … freezes them in blocks of ice. It's worth seeing, isn't it?
