He celebrated his centenary and the next 101st birthday on the stage of the Theater of the Russian Army, taking part in performances. A month and a half before his death, Vladimir Mikhailovich stood on the stage on Red Square, taking part in a concert in honor of the birthday of the city of Moscow. The talented actor passed away on the last day of October 2016, at the 102nd year of his life.

On the day of his 100th birthday, September 9, 1999, he played on the stage of his native Maly Theater. And on September 30, he was gone.
