Everyone is accustomed to the fact that the main whales of the world film industry are American Hollywood and Indian Bollywood. In fact, during the Soviet era, there were two huge film studios - Lenfilm and Mosfilm. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, both studios became semi-private. Thanks to the investments, the film studios not only survived in difficult times, hundreds of films are shot there every year.
Photos of the flooded city are the film pavilions of Lenfilm. It may seem strange, but even in the 21st century, natural filming is preferred to special effects in Russian film studios.
And now let's move on to Mosfilm, namely to the site where the "Old Moscow" set has been rebuilt on a full scale. All the houses of "Old Moscow" are made of wood. Despite the absolutely accurate imitation of ordinary houses, they are empty inside.
On the set for filming, you can see, for example, the old Moscow "fashion store".
There is a hairdresser and a restaurant next door.
And in this pavilion a film was shot by order of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The studio has its own huge garage. The cars that are in it could be the envy of any automobile museum.
