Many people are engaged in collecting, and they often collect rather strange and unusual things. A resident of the Argentine city of Quilmes, Tito Ingenieri did not complicate his life by collecting rare stamps or coins of non-existent states. He did it easier: he began to collect glass bottles. But when his collection reached an impressive size, Tito found a worthy use for it - he built a house out of bottles!
Tito Ingenieri spent 19 years to replenish his collection. How many bottles do you think can be collected in such a time? “Six million,” Tito answers us. And all these six million have successfully replaced bricks for him during construction. Of course, the house of our hero can hardly be called luxurious, but how much benefit Tito has brought to his hometown: firstly, he cleared the streets of glass debris; and secondly, he demonstrated a creative example of the use of secondary raw materials.
Ingenieri says that such a bottle house is also an excellent alarm clock, signaling a rise in the water level in the river: the southerly winds accompanying this process draw a whistle from the bottlenecks.
Tito Ingenieri is ready to teach everyone how to build such a house. To do this, you don't even need to go to Argentina: the author posted a detailed lesson on his website.

The bottles are not simple, the bottles are painted. Unusual portraits by Meghan Paterson
Since childhood, I have always been interested in the question: how do craftsmen manage to stuff a whole ship into a small bottle with a narrow neck? This is not just art, it is art on the verge of focus, a kind of magic. It is beautiful and incomprehensible, which delights and fascinates. However, if there are countless boats in bottles, then there are even more empty bottles. This is what the artist Meghan Paterson uses as a canvas for her portraits
