For a long time I have not come across dairy products, in particular milk, in glassware. Mostly, in tetrapacks or bags, or even on tap. However, after I saw photos from a specific exhibition of creative works by Charlotte Hughes-Martin on the network, the situation cleared up.
The fact is that a resident of Foggy Albion, Mrs. Charlotte, is engaged in amusing creativity - she decorates the most ordinary glass bottles with a variety of engravings. He especially loves to paint milk bottles, because he believes that it is most convenient to work with them. Residents of nearby towns to Sturbridge, Charlotte's hometown, collect this container for her, which they then receive back with illustrations: cows, sheep, goats, bears, mice and ornaments.
From time to time, Charlotte organizes exhibitions and shows, and then crowds of people come to admire the miracle bottles (and miracles in bottles). But you and I don't need to go far - the galleries of Charlotte's works are always at hand.

Bohemian glass engraving. Glass art by Heather Gillespie
Glass is like honey: if you melt it, it will be just as transparent and thick, viscous and malleable. Probably, this association became one of the reasons why the British artist Heather Gillespie prefers to work with glass, and she chose the appropriate specialization at the local university - an engraver on glass, and not on any glass, but on the famous Bohemian
The bottles are not simple, the bottles are painted. Unusual portraits by Meghan Paterson

This is not just art, it is art on the verge of focus, a kind of magic. It is beautiful and incomprehensible, which delights and fascinates. However, if there are countless boats in bottles, then there are even more empty bottles. This is what the artist Meghan Paterson uses as a canvas for her portraits
