A series of amazing islands that have sheltered small towns were recently presented by a French illustrator Pierre-antoine moelo … Each island in his paintings is like a small universe with its own rules and such different inhabitants and houses.
Pierre-antoine moeloalso known on the internet as Péah, is a concept artist specializing in computer graphics. Heroes of computer games, fictional countries and universes, illustrations for fantasy novels - everything is subject to the imagination and skill of Pierre-Antoine. He works in a variety of artistic and graphic styles at the same time, which makes his work so vibrant and engaging.
Initially, the island series was supposed to consist of only 3-4 illustrations. But in the process of drawing, the concept of a new world also inspired the author to create a story about small adventures on a tiny isolated piece of land.
Another vision of the islands and secluded life on them is presented by a German art studio in sculptural installation, in which the island-planets look like they are giant boulders of rocks that came off after a powerful earthquake, and hovered between somewhere between heaven and earth.
