Water is one of the elements that can be watched endlessly. She can both beckon with coolness, and repel with icy cold, how to save a traveler from thirst, and cause irreparable injury to everything that comes along the way. The destructive power of water is a wave, but photographers who sing the glory of this element depict it not only in the devilish guise of a force that brings death, but also as an affectionate, gentle kitten, capable of only slightly scratching the owner, and even then inadvertently. The waves in the photo project appear so soft and safe. Waveart photo artists Deb Morris … Even if it seems that it is not. Debbie Morris is far from the first and not the only photographer to be captivated by the captivating beauty of the undulating sea, ocean, lake. We've already written about Kenji Croman's amazing wave photography and Ren Ortner's incredibly realistic portraits of the sea. However, their waves are fraught with potential danger, since some of them rise above human height, and it is scary to even imagine what would happen if such a "kitten" decides to touch the "paw" of a person standing next to it. Whereas Deb Morris specializes in safe waves ranging from 3 to 30 cm in height, and all of her photographs were taken in macro mode. And it seems as if the sea was stormy that day, and the waves hit the shore with force, raging from the powerful wind.
It may seem that photographing baby waves is much easier than giant waves, and all that the photographer does is hack and provocation. However, this opinion is erroneous: the beauty of large waves can be seen with the naked eye. And just to notice such a wave, to admire it against the background of a sunset or a pre-dawn landscape will not be difficult, you just need to wait for the windy weather and go ashore. The beauty of miniature waves is not given to everyone, but only to those who purposefully hunt for this very spectacle. Deb Morris is such a hunter. Previously, she caused tiny waves by artificial means, but has long abandoned this method, and now she removes mini-storms in natural conditions, sometimes putting herself at risk, as if she were hunting for a real, "adult" storm.
The baby waves from the Waveart series of macro photographs open up a whole new world to us, invisible to those who just walk by, and hospitably opening the doors for inquisitive explorers like Debbie Morris. You can see the entire selection of amazing and literally "exciting" photos on the website of the photo artist.

Dramatic waves painted in all the colors of the rainbow
For many, the sea is associated with summer, vacations and cruises. Arnaud Lajeunie also adds creativity to this list. Moreover, the photographer does not just shoot the sea, but does it in a peculiar manner: adding dye to the waves to make the surf look more impressive. What came of all this can be seen in our article
Feel like a baby: test drive in a baby stroller
It's good to be a baby - they'll feed you, change your clothes, take you for a ride in the park - and you don't even need to steer. Only one thing is bad - if something is wrong, then it cannot be explained in any way. One of the companies producing strollers for children decided to make a version of a stroller for adults so that they themselves can ride it and check if everything is suitable for the baby, whether he will be comfortable
Splashing waves in the paintings of the Korean artist Kim Cogan (Kim Cogan)
“You roll blue waves and shine with proud beauty” - everyone remembers these Pushkin lines, addressed to the “free element”. To capture the charm of sea waves, to clothe visual beauty in words is a skill subject to literary geniuses. Capturing the white crests of waves on canvas is a challenge of equal power of talent. The paintings of the contemporary Korean artist Kim Cogan are a fine example of marine painting
Light Waves by Paul Friedlander
Paul Friedlander creates dynamic light sculptures that sit somewhere between art and science. The author himself does not undertake to determine which particular area his work belongs to, and even considers such attempts to be meaningless. Instead, he calls himself a "scientific artist" and reassures that "artists and scientists actually have a lot more in common than people usually imagine."
Through the eyes of a baby: a funny ad for a baby store
An advertisement for a children's store reminds parents that their children see a much weirder and more wonderful world than adults. If the truth is spoken through the mouth of a baby, then, probably, an unclouded child's gaze can tell all of us something new. Italian creatives tried to imitate the pictures that appear in the young brain - the authors of the original advertising for a children's store
