There are a lot of pin-up artists today. There are also those who are experimenting with high-speed photography. And here is the Polish artist Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz, who now lives in London, managed to combine these two hobbies in an amazing way. A series of his works is called Milky Pin-Ups - these are wonderful models in the style of the 40s and 60s, flaunting in seductive milk dresses. What came of it - see our review.
Among his teachers, Yaroslav Vechorkevich names such artists as Albert Vargas, Greg Hildebrandt and Jill Elvgren. He loved to look at their drawings in his youth, since then the dream of playful half-naked beauties has not left the artist. The author of the original project, the owner of the design studio AurumLight Studio, admits that he wanted to surprise the audience by turning dairy outfits into the world of haute couture. Fortunately, modern technologies make it possible to literally stop time by capturing flying drops.
Of course, the outfits did not come out from the first take. It was necessary to throw out hundreds of liters of milk on the models in order to achieve the desired result with the nth attempt. With the help of Photoshop, Yaroslav Vechorkevich "connected" the scattered drops together, creating the illusion of a translucent fabric that fits the silky skin of the models.
The result was stunning: traditional images sparkled with new colors, bright colors, modern style and simply off-scale sexuality revived familiar pin-up drawings and brought a special piquancy to the Milky Pin-Ups series of photographs. We can only wonder and enjoy!
