Alexandre Bordereau is a photographer and graphic designer, also known under the pseudonym aRe-y0u-in, originally from France. Bordero is quite young, but at 24 he has already established himself as a talented and successful photo artist. Bordero is always original - one of his most interesting photo projects “Oh my head” is a confirmation of this.
Through the Oh my head project, Bordero is trying to prove that sometimes people don't need a face to express their emotions. In place of the head of each model, the photographer decided to place an unusual element - smoke in which a grimace appears, a fence with a funny face drawn in chalk, milk splashing in the form of a smile … Surprisingly, every time viewers can almost accurately identify the emotion in the portrait. Moreover, sometimes it seems that the photographer himself is able to control the viewer's emotions, causing either sadness, or nastalgia, or a slight grin.
Bordero is a vivid example of the so-called self-made man, that is, a person who has achieved success solely by his own strength and talent. Indeed, it is not so easy to declare yourself in the modern world of graphic design and photography without having a specialized education. True, as has been proven more than once, education can hardly ensure success.
“Oh my head” is not Bordero's only project. Among his works are also "Unknown" ("Unknown"), "Identity" ("Identity"), "365 Project" ("Project-365") and many others.

Faceless shadows in the photo cycle by Alexandre Bordereau
Mimicry is one of the most important ways of transmitting information. Sometimes the facial expression can say more than the spoken words, and the look can betray the true attitude of the interlocutor to the subject of the conversation.
