Looking at the photo, one gets the impression that Meg Wachter is either a very creative photographer, or just a sadist who likes to torture his models and watch the whole process. Otherwise, how can you explain what she does with her models?
The photographs by New York-based photographer Mag Wachter are a series of works called “Dumped”, depicting the faces of men and women, on whose heads various liquid substances and substances are poured. The collection of photographs by Mag Wachter is interesting for us by the depiction of unexpected and various expressions of faces and grimaces of models at the moment something wet, slippery and cold falls on their head.
What has not been on the heads of young guys and girls who posed for the photographer: cottage cheese, tomato paste, resin and fluff, milk, coffee, eggs, maple syrup, apple sauce, and even dishwashing detergent.
In the collection of the photo artist there are 13 works, which she took after long hours of torment and torture, pouring various means on her models. Many of the participants themselves chose the substance that was supposed to splash on their heads. Interestingly, what if Meg missed the right moment, not having time to shoot that very moment of surprise in time, did it really need to be repeated? Did the models wash their hair again and get ready for the next batch of douches? Many participants in the photo shoot asked the photographer how to react, and she asked them to be themselves so that she could capture the natural reaction of each of them on camera. The moment of their reaction is what is most interesting and unique in this project. How many people, so many emotions and different reactions to a similar situation.
Talking about the shooting process, Meg Wachter shared that working on the project was fun, and not only for the photographer, but also for the models. An atmosphere of laughter, fun and positive emotions reigned in the studio. Moreover, all the models look happy in the photo.

As you know, photographs give us the opportunity not only to forever document this or that event, the moment that we want to last forever. But it can also take us back many years. When grandmothers were students, grandfathers wore luxurious hair and fashionable shoes, and mothers and fathers wore diapers and gnawed on rattles. People are changing, they have a short age. But the streets and lanes, playgrounds and shops, and even the facades of houses and the furnishings of rooms remain practically unchanged

"Water to your head". "Wet" photo project by Marcin Cecko
Polish photographer Marcin Cecko is not very famous outside his homeland. Torture with meat, salt and more: How people were tortured without resorting to instruments of torture
People are still horrified when they read about the medieval instruments of torture with which the unfortunate victims were tortured. But there were also other methods of torture, which did not leave obvious marks on the human body, but at the same time deprived them of their life or suppressed their personality. How people were destroyed with food and insomnia - further in the review
