English amateur artist Tony Plant believes that his hobby - drawing in the sand - gives "incomparable creative freedom." Plant spends more than one hour of time detailing a beautiful pattern. He is not at all embarrassed by the fact that the drawing will be irretrievably lost during the next high tide.

For his creative work, a native of Newquie, Cornwell County, does not need anything but enthusiasm and a broomstick in his hands - with the help of the latter, Plant draws his designs. Also, of course, you need a beautiful sandy coast. The artist himself admits that one of the main advantages of his hobby is the opportunity to travel to the "heavenly places" of the United Kingdom.

Tony Plant is 50 years old, he is the father of two children, and he is engaged in art exclusively in his spare time. It does not bring him money, but it allows him to express himself and gives Plant's imagination the opportunity to "look beyond the boundaries of the unknown."

Many contemporary creators turn to sand as an unusual, but still material for creating art objects. Ukrainian artist Ksenia Simonova, like Plant, paints pictures - true, figurative, but Calvin Seibert erects original sculptures - a kind of "sand castles". Tony Plant has his own reasons for this: the artist is attracted by the "unity between man and landscape." This unique experience pushes him to create more and more drawings, and with the help of photo documentation, viewers from all over the world can share it.
