Claire Basler Is a talented French artist who is in love with flowers. She turned her studio into a huge flower garden, which looks more like a luxurious winter garden than an ordinary workshop. Here the craftswoman daily paints pictures on which, as if by magic, defenseless poppies, delicate peonies and exquisite lilies "bloom".
Clare Basler's studio is admired by friends and colleagues. In particular, the famous photographer Kirsty Mitchell once admitted that she had never seen such wonderful studios in which "the brain literally explodes with delight." She even jokingly added that if she dreams of dying somewhere, then most likely in this beautiful place.
It seems that Claire Basler herself also does not like a soul in her workshop. She settled it in the building of a former school in the town of Les Ormes (a suburb of Paris). Here she not only works, but also lives. Every day, she makes sure that the house has the required number of flowering plants, as they inspire the artist to be creative.
Claire Basler says that she loves to watch the flowers grow in her garden. She is interested in how plants fight against wind, rain and sun, how they are drawn to light. This is the charm of living nature, in its simultaneous strength and weakness. The artist seeks to depict this inner essence of all living things on her canvases.
The media wrote about the art workshop of Claire Basler several times, in particular, photo reports about the original home studio appeared on the pages of the Elle Decor edition.
