Room-field, room-sea, room-sky … People who are so dependent on the media that instead of their heads they have television sets. Windows, doors and light bulbs high-high in the mountains or in an open field. Surreal photo art by Michael Vincent Manalo depicts the unexpected unification of nature and civilization. The boundaries between them do not disappear, but, on the contrary, are emphasized. Among the bare steppe, the heroes of the photographer are homesick, and at home they remember the beauty of floating clouds and the blue sea.
24-year-old self-taught photo artist Michael Vincent Manalo (Michael Vincent Manalo) was born in the Philippines in the family of a basketball player and singer, but did not want to follow in the footsteps of his parents. Under pressure from his family, he graduated from medical college and is now a certified nurse.
But he always dreamed of devoting his life - but not to photo art, but even to music! At one time, Michael Vincent Manalo played in a band with which he performed at friendly parties and college concerts. Now the connection between the photographer and music is expressed in the fact that his works often adorn the album covers of various musical groups.
But how did Michael Vincent Manalo become a photographer? On his 20th birthday, the young man was presented with a professional camera, and then everything started spinning. He began to lug the camera everywhere with him, photographing street life on the way to and from work.
Once he got tired of just taking pictures - and Photoshop went into action. Now the young man had something to do after work. He played a lot with a graphic editor and read a lot about photo manipulation on the Internet, until he finally found his own style.
Michael Vincent Manalo claims that all his life he dreamed of making people happy and inspiring them to be creative. And he also dreamed of recognition - and his dreams are slowly coming true: magazines publish surreal photographs of a talented author, sometimes he is awarded for achievements in digital art.
“Inspiration comes to me from many different sources,” says Michael Vincent Manalo. “Everything can start with extraordinary dreams, nostalgic memories, vivid emotions, painful experiences, melancholy moods - whatever.” The photographer only has to memorize these visions and reproduce them with the help of surreal collages.

Where wild animals used to roam freely, trees and grasses that have now disappeared from the face of the earth grew, where birds, exotic at the moment, built their nests, today factories smoke, cars drive, houses are built, people walk … land, and often - in the immediate vicinity of large industrial centers and densely populated areas.
