All people are brothers, and the earth is our common home, once considered hippies … and continues to consider a young Swedish designer George Chamoun … No, he is not a hippie at all, he does not live in a hut in an open field and does not hug the first person he meets, calling him a friend and brother. He is the author of an unusual art project called Iconatomy, based on the similarity of facial features of two completely different people, and even belonging to different eras. So, without the help of Photoshop and other computer manipulations, George Chamoun created collages from two photographs of celebrities of the present and the past. Do you recognize? Although, in fact, George Chamun is not an artist or a photographer. He is 26 years old and is studying to be a goldsmith at the Stockholm College of Art and Design. And he also does not call collage in Photoshop his hobby, besides, he created the Iconatomy project with his own hands, without changing or correcting the photos.

The black and white parts of the portraits mean that the star is from the past, while the colored parts indicate that the celebrity is alive, well and actively acting in films to this day. And although all the photo collages are signed, I wonder if you can guess who the creative young man from Stockholm "crossed" with whom?

By the way, George Chamoon always notes that he never tried to compare the actors with each other. He was only interested in similar facial features and the ability to "connect" one face to another. It took him a long time to find such similar people, but the result was worth it. Probably the continuation of the Iconatomy series can be found on the personal site of George Chamoun.
