In Ray Bradbury's fantasy story "The Golden Apples of the Sun", astronauts fly to the southernmost point of the solar system: to the luminary itself, in order to scoop up some plasma and penetrate the secrets of the stars. Looking at the received NASA photo of the sun and space, you understand: there is actually very little fiction in this story.
