Whooper swan is considered one of the largest birds of the duck family. Proud and majestic, with thick grayish-white plumage, these birds simply cannot but cause admiration among those who at least once in their life had to see their flights for wintering or nesting. The whooper family (pictured) appears to be preparing for their first autumn flight as the little ducklings have joined their parents on their backs. So they will fly on their first journey. In Poland, the winter of 2010 was extremely long and harsh. In particular, for red-haired beauties-squirrels, which are touched by everyone, from small to large. Squirrels are little chanterelles. One of them allowed herself to be photographed by Dorota Walczak.
February 20th
One of the best shots of this week, a German Shorthaired Pointer (Kurzhaar). Chris McKay's photo shows a still puppy, a 17-week-old pointer toddler, playing in dry grass in Hanmer Springs, New Zealand.
