Festivals with traditional costumes are a favorite crowd attraction on all national holidays. And what happens if a holiday takes place in America - a country where almost all national traditions are intertwined? Moreover, in a city with a population of over one million? Moreover, with the participation of theater and circus artists? Then the costume parade turns into a real madness of colors and costumes, generated by the fantasy of Talia's beloved children.
Actors have long been fond of processions and parades, when you can step off the dusty stage of theaters onto a wide street and perform in front of a truly large audience. Four hundred years ago, the annual Games of Actors were held in England. In America, they mixed with the Swedish (and seemingly international) tradition of visiting neighbors and friends after the New Year, and with some other holidays. And then the passing merry actors intervened in the matter, who tried to decorate the holiday with their art - and this is how this wonderful parade appeared.
Now Philadelphia is not the largest, but one of the most highly cultured and multi-ethnic cities in America and the world. And when all the local theatergoers, circus performers and just actors in spirit get together, then the sky itself gets hot! The costume show, which locals look forward to all year long, features the most unexpected, weird, and funniest outfits. "A country without traditions" in fact turns out to be a real anthill of folk costumes, jewelry and songs of the whole Earth.
At the very beginning of January, the artists get together, and in one solemn procession they slowly walk along Broad Street (this is the name of the main street of Philadelphia, about 23 kilometers long). The number of participants in this procession cannot be counted.
Now the costume show of the Litsedeev Parade is experiencing difficulties, because Philadelphia has become a little too expensive for it. However, I want to believe that this wonderful parade will not become a thing of the past, and after the streets of Philadelphia will again become crowded with actors - just like it was a couple of weeks ago.

1945 is marked in the history of the USSR by four military parades of the winners. The USSR declared war on the Japanese on August 8, and on September 2 the latter surrendered unconditionally. Call Parade: payphone parade in Sao Paolo (Brazil)
Brazil is preparing for the world's first and only payphone parade "Call Parade". Its organizers, Toptrends and the telephone company Vivo, were concerned that such dull and nondescript payphones still stand on the streets of such a modern and beautiful city as San Paolo. Without hesitation, they announced a competition for the best design of street telephone booths, in which anyone can become a participant by registering and sending their design project by the organizer
