My home is my castle. But nothing lasts forever in this world, and even the best house will one day be abandoned by its inhabitants, and the most impregnable fortress will turn into ruins. This is what the last installation by the Italian author is dedicated to. Daniele Del Nero "After Effects".

To show the aging and decay of human dwellings, Danielle del Nero created a series of architectural models of small buildings. The houses themselves are made of black paper, and the author has covered their surface with flour and a layer of mold. The result, you must admit, is impressive: the buildings look very realistic, and you involuntarily regret that they are now abandoned by their owners and are slowly turning into heaps of ruins.

“My goal is to tell you about the understanding of time and loneliness on the planet after a person left their footprints here, through the anxiety that gripped abandoned houses,” says Danielle del Nero of his project.
