Thanks to the James Cameron film "Avatar", 3D fashion has taken over our planet. True, I mean 3D cinematography. But not only three-dimensional art is limited to them. For example, an artist under the pseudonym Fredo mastered the technique of creating pencil 3D illusions.
In general, 3D illusions are a very common type of painting. Each of us has stumbled upon the 3D street art of Kurt Wenner or Edgar Mueller, at least on the Internet. Even in Moscow, similar 3D images have recently appeared, created by order of Nike.
But Fredo's work is completely different from all this. After all, in principle, it is not so difficult to create a three-dimensional illusion using colored paints or crayons. Simple pencils are another matter. It takes real talent and skill.
And, indeed, Fredo has them. After all, he manages to create real three-dimensional illusions on ordinary sheets of white paper with the help of simple pencils. Moreover, these drawings can crawl from one sheet to another, which adds to them the impression of reality. Of course, the images created by Fredo are deliberately unreal, phantasmagoric. It is all the more surprising that the author manages to give them reality.
To aggravate the effect, when creating his 3D illusions, he also adds real objects to them - cutlery, interior elements, his own hands. All this really fascinates the viewer, who, in principle, understands with his brain that all these are just drawings with a simple pencil, but the eyes refuse to believe it, because they see quite real, three-dimensional objects.
And a person begins to subconsciously hope that these surreal creatures, which he now sees, will not suddenly decide to pounce on him. Here it is, a real talent - to make the viewer believe in the reality of what he saw!
