Hundreds of millions of tons of garbage and other waste of human activity are dumped into the Micro Ocean every year. And soon the ocean because of this from the breadwinner of the planet can turn into a lifeless dirty goo. It is for the fight against this fate of the World Ocean that the series of photographic works “There is no such thing as“a little rubbish”in the sea.
Photographer Ben Stockley has created a series of posters aimed at tackling ocean pollution. These works use the effect in which things in water, due to the refraction of light, appear larger than they really are. “There is no such thing as' little rubbish 'in the sea,' is the slogan of this social advertising campaign.
Four photos taken by Ben Stokely show a gas can, a tire, a soda can, and a plastic car oil container floating in water. Moreover, they are only half immersed in water. And therefore it seems that the lower part of them, located in the water, looks much larger than the surface.
Garbage is killing the World Ocean. Everyone should understand this. And with a dead ocean, the planet will die. And a little debris that ends up in the ocean can lead to serious environmental problems.
