With the release of the eighth film about Harry Potter and his friends, the world was covered with another wave of Potteromania, this time, the last one! After all, the eighth film is the end of a movie saga that lasted ten years. Here is exactly an American artist for this event Brittney Lee and created two amazing paper Harry Potter appliques.
The ending of the Harry Potter movie saga has greatly influenced the life of planet Earth over the past few days. Including, it influenced art. Consider the series of adorable cartoons dedicated to the end of the Potter series.
So the American artist Brittney Lee, a big fan of books and films about Harry Potter, decided to create something like that to mark the End of the Era (this is how his fans perceive the release of the last film about the young wizard). She ended up creating two appliques depicting scenes from the world of the Boy Who Lived.
The first applique depicts Harry Potter entering the owl tower of the Hogwarts wizarding school and his white snowy owl, Hedwig, descending on the owner's shoulder; the second work, created by Brittney Lee from multi-colored paper, shows the Gryffindor trinity: Harry Potter, Herminona Granger and Ron Weasley at the moment Potter summons his Patronus (a magical spirit that looks like an animal and protects the person who summoned it).
Both of these works are performed at a high artistic level. It is quite possible to call them not just applications, but real painting, paintings. They are simply created by sticking multi-colored pieces of paper on a single base. Everyone did this in childhood, but only a few, like Brittney Lee, did it on a professional basis.
These two Harry Potter-inspired paintings by Brittney Lee are now on display at the Harry Potter Tribute Show at Gallery Nucleus in the Alhambra, California.
