Creative association Luzinterruptus for several years now he has been conducting cultural guerrilla warfare (guerrilla warfare) around the world, creating here and there unusual light installations. And here is another similar partisan action, named by the creators "1000 poems by mail" ("1000 poems by mail"), dedicated to poetry.
The guys from Luzinterruptus have repeatedly become heroes of materials on our site. We have already told our readers about the installations "Luminous Cemetery of Shadows", "Aliens at a Picnic" and their other actions, in which the main means of expressing an idea is light. And in 1000 poems by mail, Luzinterruptus did not renounce this principle.
The main message of this action was the authors' desire to rehabilitate paper mail, as well as poetry. They argue that e-mail is great for business purposes, but feelings and personal experiences should be expressed exclusively in the old form, on paper, and exclusively in poetic form.
To realize their idea, the participants of Luzinterruptus invited contemporary Spanish poets to write one or several poems specially for the campaign “1000 poems by mail”, rewrite them by hand, put them in concerts and sign those with their wishes to people who will read it.
After that, more than a hundred poems obtained in this way were hung from the trees of one of the Madrid parks in exactly a thousand envelopes (that is, each work was there in about ten copies) under specially created lighting by Luzinterruptus. They hung like that for three days, and were subsequently sent by regular mail to various people who expressed their desire to receive such a gift.

Why the poet Tvardovsky never dedicated poetry to his wife, with whom he lived together for more than 40 years
Alexander Trifonovich Tvardovsky is a special phenomenon in Russian Soviet literature. Contemporaries called him the conscience of poetry and marveled at his "correctness." But next to him was the one who believed him more than herself. Maria Illarionovna Gorelova became the first and only love in the poet's life, muse, support and "the second wing of his conscience." But in his work there will not be a single poem dedicated to his wife
Real Leningrad: Photos of the city on the Neva, which are compared with the poetry of Brodsky
Boris Smelov is a recognized classic of Soviet photography. He sang the praises of St. Petersburg romance, took pictures of city landscapes, portraits and still lifes. It is his photographs of the city on the Neva that are compared with the poetry of Brodsky. He shot day and night, experimented with camera angles and films, climbed rooftops and wandered the streets. That is why in his photographs there is a truly living city
Mysterious dance poetry hidden in the subtle movements of the dancers
Few will be left indifferent by an elegant series of photographs, where light, almost weightless movements of dancers, so similar to ghosts hovering above the ground, are captured on an open stage. These gentle, blurry long exposure shots are an alternative to traditional contemporary dance photography
10 Russian and Soviet politicians who wrote poetry: From Alexander Griboyedov to Sergei Lavrov
The history of Russia knows many cases when real talented personalities were involved in politics. However, some have become known precisely because of their creativity. Perhaps Lord Byron was right when he argued that writing poetry helps restless souls to find peace. However, poetry can have a healing effect not only on politicians, but also on ordinary people
