If we take it as an axiom that artists are exceptionally strange people, living according to some of their own laws and rules, the Dutch Anouk kruithof - a real artist, to the core. How many sculptures and other design items from books we have seen, but such book chaos - never in my life. And most importantly, why is this all? Probably, the installation by Anouk Kruithof, in which she uses from 3, 5 to 4000 books, can be called surreal, and everyone will decide for themselves what this might mean. But it would be unfair to think that this work does not attract attention and does not excite the imagination. Just think, - a whole wall of multi-colored books, stacked so that it seems as if one shade is born from another, reborn into a third, - and so on, to the very edge …
With this art project, Anouk Kruithof traveled to different cities in Europe, and each time the installation changed its scale, colors, and their organization. One thing remained unchanged: a huge number of books, the same huge number of colors, and a video that was shown right there, on the wall-screen, using a projector.
And in the video, the books make dizzying falls and jumps, sometimes falling to the floor with a hail, or then again lining up into an even multi-colored wall. Chudn aI work awesome Oth artist. By the way, the rest of Anouk Kruithof's unusual art projects can be viewed on her personal website.
