This is the name of the part of the central park where John Lennon loved to walk in the last months of his life. And recently this cozy green corner has really turned into a “strawberry field”.
John Lennon lived in a house near Central Park in New York before his murder. Therefore, through the efforts of fans of his work, part of this park was named after one of his most famous songs - Strawberry Fields. Some of the musician's ashes were even scattered over it. And now there is a place of pilgrimage for his fans.
And the other day this corner of the park really turned into a "strawberry field". Several dozen dummies of strawberries were installed on it. Of course, you can't eat them, but you can look at them, read the text and watch the images placed on these false berries. The fact is that here, thanks to the efforts of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a retrospective exhibition dedicated to the life and work of John Lennon has opened. And what better stand for this outdoor museum than strawberries?
