No new, ultra-modern, sophisticated games will ever provide as much enjoyable, unforgettable experience as video games of the 80s did. Tetris, Pac-Man, Space Invaders - these names are still widely heard, they still excite the minds of gamers and artists.
Here is the French-Swiss artist Gilliam Raymond and created an unusual art project called GAME OVER. In it, he brought to life the most famous video games of the past decades. For each of these films, he took a series of photographs in which people, sitting in a special room in special clothes, appear as pixels in the images of these games. These "pixels" move from place to place. So, in the end, when all the photos are combined, you get a video.
This video depicts the process of playing Tetris, Pole Position, Space Invaders, Pong and Pac-Man, as if this action takes place on a monitor or TV screen, and not in a movie theater or lecture hall. And as if these are real faceless pixels, and not people!
