What should your home look like in order to radically differ from other similar buildings and stand out favorably against their background? It seems that James Rizzi has already found the answer to this question, embodying his ideas about the appearance of houses in the coloring of one of the architectural structures in Germany.
The unusual building is located in the German city of Braunschweig, and its construction, without exaggeration, was an important historical moment in the life of the city. Built in 2001 by the architect Konrad Kloster and painted by James Rizzi, the new home has grown on the site of the ruins of a ducal residence. With this project, the authors tried to preserve the original building and at the same time experiment with architectural forms. How well they did it - judge for yourself.
The bright and cheerful design of the house cannot but cause a smile and cheer up. Even the name of the house is appropriate - Happy Rizzi House, that is, Happy Rizzi House.
Built to delight children and adults alike, Happy Rizzi House is attractive to people of all ages, at any time of the year. Who wouldn't want to live in such a positive home that combines pop art and the art of animation? Although the house, according to Wikipedia, is not intended for housing, but is built as an office building. Well, then we can say with confidence that people come to work and start every working day with a smile.
“I paint on everything I can reach,” says James Rizzi, a 59-year-old American artist from Brooklyn, New York. He paints not only houses, but also cars, postage stamps and even airplanes. Any of his drawings are invariably positive and bright, they give positive emotions and return to the days of carefree childhood.
