Often the Italian artist (Laura Muolo) writes with colored and simple pencils in the hyperrealist style, preferring figurative painting, mainly portraits. But at the same time, among her works you can find landscapes and still lifes and various scenes from the everyday life of ordinary people …
Laura was born in Milan in 1975. And, despite the fact that the girl was passionate about drawing since childhood, at the age of nineteen she moved to Rimini, where she graduated from the Faculty of Law. Only after twenty long years, she again began to be interested in painting. Having acquired textbooks and books on drawing, Laura began to study the practical side of the matter, but as regrettable as it may sound, she quickly lost interest in what was happening. The real artistic wave "covered" her a few years later. When in 2013, to make a gift to a friend, I painted a portrait. Since then, she no longer let go of pencils and brushes, which in a short time brought her an unexpected result.
Believe it or not, these realistic paintings are not made in oils or watercolors. According to the artist Samuel Silva, in his arsenal there are only eight colored pens, thanks to which amazing masterpieces are born, so similar to photographs.
