Just the other day in Belgium, the second part of the most amazing performance called Ghent Light Festival, which took place in Ghent from 26 to 29 January. This festival attracts people like butterflies that flock to the light, because the installations presented there shine and flash with colorful lights, like lanterns on the huge Kremlin Christmas tree. This time, one of the installations stood out - a huge cathedral Luminarie de cagna … At 28 meters high, this cathedral was a gigantic colonnade structure made of wood and 55,000 multi-colored LEDs, with arches characteristic of Renaissance architecture. People who went inside, fell into a magical world, surrounded from all sides by light and lights, like precious stones from fairy tales.
The theme of this year's festival was "Happiness and Music", and this theme has been reflected in over 30 unique installations. But the huge cathedral of tens of thousands of colored lights was undoubtedly the highlight of the program. Those who are worried about the profitability of this installation, we hasten to reassure: all these tens of thousands of LEDs consume no more than 20 kilowatts of electricity per hour.
