The 21-year-old Englishwoman Kerry Trebilcock was convinced that there were no comrades in taste and color, when she realized that her gastronomic preferences did not coincide with the generally accepted ones. For four years the girl has been eating … soap and dishwashing sponges. During this time, Kerry ate about 4,000 washcloths and 100 bars of soap!
A strange addiction manifested itself in Kerry Tribblecock after she returned from a trip to Morocco. The girl became a victim of an intestinal parasite that settled in her body, and since then she has developed an attraction to harmful products. However, even after a double portion of lasagna and a huge ice cream, the feeling of fullness did not come. Once, washing the dishes, Kerry felt that she could actually satisfy her hunger … with a sponge! The girl literally swallowed a washcloth, washed it down with a glass of water, and finally felt relief.
Since then, Kerry began to eat these inedible items every day. Fruit soap has become a real delicacy for the girl, and she likes to wash down her lips with tea or hot chocolate. When leaving the house, Kerry makes sure to take a couple of sponges with mustard or barbecue sauce with him as a light snack.
It is not the first time that doctors have observed people who begin to eat inedible things. There are already known cases of eating metal, sand, chalk, coal, lamps and even pieces of furniture. Such a diet causes severe colic, diarrhea, and constipation in patients. Such an unusual disease is called PICA; as a rule, a course of vitamins and constant consultations with a psychologist are prescribed as treatment. Unfortunately, Carrie has not yet managed to completely switch to normal food, but she tries to limit her "soapy" appetite!
Along with eating, there are other unusual ways to use toilet soap. For example, soap carving is a traditional art in Thai villages. Here amazing flowers and various figurines are made from this material!

Light and airy soap bubbles. Photos by Richard Heeks
I don’t know how anyone, but I associate soap bubbles only with childhood, with exciting fun and one hundred percent positive. It would be so desirable that the transparent balls flying through the air and shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow did not burst, did not disappear, but simply floated in the air, sparkling and shining. And now, looking at the photographs of Richard Heeks, you feel great joy that the artist managed to perpetuate such a fleeting beauty of delicate soap-bubble masterpieces
Planetary Chocolate, a box of chocolate planets from L'eclat. Let the cosmos into you
It is believed that as a child, all boys want to be superheroes, ice cream sellers, or, at worst, astronauts. But if even after many years, flights to the stars and other planets remain only a ghostly dream, and there is no spaceship captain's suit hanging in the closet, space can be admitted in another way. This will be facilitated by the Japanese confectionery company L'eclat and its novelty Planetary Chocolate - a box of original chocolates in the form of the eight planets of our solar system

Breakfast in bed or bed for breakfast? "Appetizing" advertisement for the B&B chain (Bed & Breakfast)
The concept of the B&B hotel chain (literally "bed and breakfast") is simple: a traveler needs two things to relax - a comfortable bed and a hearty breakfast. New advertising posters demonstrate this
