The author of the strange photographs depicting children with old age wrinkles is the Dutchman Ruad Delaunay. An adherent of the wisest turtle in the Soviet Union created a series of works "Never Grow Old". Children from 2 to 9 years old had a hard time: their young faces acquired the features of 60-year-olds. The heroes of strange photographs tried on all the "charms" of fading: wrinkles, warts, drooping corners of the mouth.
Dutch photographer Ruadh DeLone is interested in the subject of life and death and reminds us that we are all here for a short time. “I was wondering what would happen if you mix youth and old age,” says the author of the strange photographs. - And I also wanted to convey the idea that you need to take care of the young spirit even in a flabby body. A series of photographs evokes conflicting reviews: “The pictures excite and embarrass the viewer, because you cannot immediately tell who is in front of you - a child or an old man,” comments Ruad Delaunay, who carves a divine spark of absurdity from ordinary photographs.
