The artist Linn Olofsdotter is one of those who are usually called mnogostanochnik, because they managed to try their hand at everything: in graphics and design, decoration and advertising creativity, painted both "pocket" and large-scale canvases that fit on the walls of high-rise buildings. But unlike many colleagues with the same creative background, Lynn has found her place in painting. Her strong point is multi-layered surreal paintings, which she creates with amazing diligence, releasing new works as quickly as possible.
“Initially, I had no intention of becoming an illustrator, and until I was 20 I didn't even know that I could draw,” says Linn Olofsdotter of herself. So, first the girl went to study advertising, which led her to the school of graphic design. And despite the fact that the teachers said that her illustrations were more like scribbles, Lynn Olofsdotter continued to draw and participate in all kinds of competitions.
A distinctive feature of the drawings that Lynn Olofsdotter creates are layering, multi-texture and emotionality. And these emotions are by no means easy and careless, but often difficult and difficult. However, the colors of most of the paintings also cannot be called bright, despite their depth and richness.
How she came to surreal paintings and graphic design, wall decoration and shop windows, Lynn herself does not know. She says that one day she just decided for herself that she wanted to paint, and now, she is still continuing this occupation.
