Many movie and comic book heroes have become so popular in the world that they can be recognized almost from three notes. That is, from three pixels. No, just a pixel version. That's it pixel posters already released films and films that are just getting ready for release, just created by the American artist Michael Myers.
Pixel graphics, it would seem, have outlived their twenty years ago, when the capabilities of computers outgrew it. But it was not there! People, it turns out, are so fond of pixel images that they cannot part with them even in the second decade of the twenty-first century! Therefore, a variety of pixel art appears, such as pixel art from book covers, pixel pour 2.0 street art, pixel nature in Shawn Smith's sculptures or pixel stands for NIKE.
Here and the American artist Michael Myers is not averse to sometimes indulge in pixel art. To the delight of fans of colorful squares and angular images, as well as fans of cinematography, he created a series of pixel movie posters dedicated to legendary movies and superheroes embodied in cinema.
This series consists of a dozen pixelated posters for films that have already been released, and those that will be released in the coming days and the next few years. This is a movie saga about "Star Wars", films "The Dark Knight Rises" (a film about Batman, which will be released in 2012), "Captain America" (released in July 2011), "Green Lantern" (released in June 2011), Iron Man 3 (released in 2013) and Thor (released in May 2011).
The characters in these pictures are so popular that they are easily recognizable even in their pixelated version, created by Michael Myers. A worthy continuation of a series of minimalist posters dedicated to superheroes, or a series of minimalist posters for Soviet films.
