A project called Oshibepresented in New York at the 22nd ICFF international exhibition by a designer from Japan Tomomi Sayuda, could be called a designer lamp or an unusual musical instrument. However, it is most suitable for him to be called a light and music sculpture, since he carries no other value, besides aesthetic. But who said that this is not enough to become a work of art? The name of the Oshibe sculpture is translated from Japanese as "stamen", but we can see several "stamens" at once, each of which rests a translucent ball resembling an egg. As soon as this egg is on the top of one of the stamens, melodious sounds or soft music will be heard from the sculpture, and the egg itself will glow with a soft flickering light.
The Oshibe light and music sculpture is very unusual: the melody that sounds when all the eggs are in their places depends on the order in which they are laid in the stamens. Therefore, you can achieve a variety of results by changing the order of the eggs and their number.
The device could be called a sculpture-night light, but not everyone will be comfortable falling asleep to the iridescent trills of unknown birds or the sounds of the forest, and the light that flows from the "eggs" crowning the sculpture can interfere. But as an interior decoration, such a sculpture will not be equal as long as we are interested in everything unusual and original.
