Photographer Carl Warner, who creates incredible landscapes from ordinary products, has already become a hero one of our articles … But it would be simply a crime not to talk about his new work, because this time the author did not create an abstract scene of nature, but reproduced the main sights of London with the help of fruits and vegetables!
Carl Warner took 26 types of fruits and vegetables to create the London landscape, which includes the Houses of Parliament, Nelson's Column, Ferris wheel, Tower Bridge and other attractions. Three weeks of work - and a talented photographer with a team of five assistants completed his work, created in honor of promoting healthy eating.
Each object in the photograph was created separately from edible elements cut out and glued together and photographed, and only later all parts of the image were collected into a single panorama. At first glance, you won't guess what this or that building is made of, but Karl makes no secret of his work. For example, for Nelson's column, he needed a cucumber, zucchini, carrots, as well as almonds and peanuts. At the heart of St. Paul's Cathedral is a watermelon, and the Mary Ax skyscraper is made of two types of melons and green beans.
The edible version of London was custom-made for the Good Food Channel. Customers were delighted, called Karl Warner's image "stunning" and reassured viewers that such creative food entertainment was the "way forward."
