It is safe to say that many people played with Lego-constructor in childhood, spending a lot of time building miniature cities, fortresses, navy … and everything that was enough for their imagination. But British TV presenter James May surprised everyone by building a real home from Lego bricks in which to live.
James May says that the idea to build such an unusual house first visited him over a glass of beer, when he and a group of friends remembered what they were building as children and playing with a Lego constructor. Until this time, the largest piece of art that the British TV presenter created from Lego was a warship or an airplane. And this is all that turned out to be built from the number of cubes that were available.
The two-story residential Lego mansion, which has several rooms, a bathroom and a toilet, is located in a romantic location in the middle of a vineyard. James May did not work on his masterpiece himself, and a team of volunteers helped him build the Lego house. About 816 million cubes were used to create a house that is completely Lego blocks, inside and out. Just wondering what James May will do with all these cubes if he suddenly decides to move?
