We are all used to focusing on the end result. Final pose, rehearsed smile, camera work. Lois Greenfield doesn't care. She captures the process, having time to capture with her camera that fleeting moment in motion, which we do not even have time to realize - it passes so quickly.

Lois's career as a photographer began in the 1970s. The girl dreamed of working for National Geographic and on the way to realizing this dream she filmed everything: from closed prisons to concerts of rock stars. Having never studied the art of photography in schools or universities, Greenfield mastered all the subtleties of this lesson from her own experience. Once, while performing a job for one of the newspapers, Lois had to photograph dancers, and although the world of dance had never attracted a girl before, everything changed from that moment.

However, it was not very convenient to photograph dances on stage. Firstly, changing lighting causes a lot of inconvenience, and secondly, it is not always possible to take a picture from the desired position. And Lois Greenfield began inviting dancers to her studio. She says that many of them reveal themselves better in front of her camera than on stage, and perform such complex elements that they have never done before.
