Very often, the manufacturer tries to "blur the eyes" of the buyer, passing off cheap products for expensive ones. But sometimes it happens the other way around. For example, the sculptor Brett Kern creates ceramic figurines that look like ordinary inexpensive inflatable toys. It even imitates the seams, fastening details and characteristic folds on the sculpture.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Brett Kern enrolled in graphic design at California University in the fall of 2003. But soon the young man literally fell in love with clay and decided to become a sculptor. No sooner said than done. Having mastered many types of clay, Brett Kern switched to ceramics. Today the sculptor creates masterpieces from almost all materials, but ceramics is still his favorite type of clay.
It must be admitted that "inflatable" sculptures are in great demand. Moreover, these are mostly not children (as one might think), but adult connoisseurs of art. Children prefer the wooden sculptures of the skeletons of animals and birds by Giovanni Longo.
