The adaptation of Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" was presented to the general public about a month ago, and the passion for it has not subsided to this day. There are many conflicting opinions about how successful the film was, but the designers from the jewelry company H. Stern have no doubts about this. After all, scenes from the film served as a powerful source of inspiration for them when creating their next collection of jewelry.
Unlike many authors who interpret the images of Alice, the Hatter or the Queen in their works, the designers from H. Stern took a different path. In their jewelry, they decided to embody not the well-known characters from the fairy tale, but the magical world of nature and unusual creatures inhabiting the Wonderland. When reading Carroll's story, we could only imagine the landscapes of a magical land and its inhabitants, and the film adaptation of Tim Burton gave us the opportunity to see them with our own eyes. This is how a collection of five rings arose, based on the images of talking roses, colored mushrooms, birds from the topiary garden, the Cheshire cat and the Jabberwock.
All jewelry is made of gold (Jabberwocky is made of black gold), some of their elements are covered with colored enamel and decorated with diamonds. Moreover, the wide smile of the Cheshire cat is treated with a special compound, as a result of which, as in the film, it glows in the dark.
Each ring is available in two sizes, but the jewelry can hardly be called affordable: you can become their owner only by making a special order. And the price, given the complexity of the work, most likely bites.
H. Stern is a jewelry company founded in 1945 in Rio de Janeiro by an emigrant from Germany Hans Stern. Now, more than half a century later, it is a fashionable jewelry brand with 160 stores in 13 countries - mainly in South America. H. Stern jewelry can be seen on stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman and Celine Dion.
