I think we are not the first time to admire the talent of sculptors and artists who can create amazing things from old and unnecessary things gathering dust in closets, attics and mezzanines. Most recently, we looked at what can be made from old bent forks, and today we will get acquainted with the sculptures and paintings that the artist Federico Uribe from Miami creates from any household items.
Papa Carlo carved his Pinocchio from what was at hand - from a log. And the characters of Federico Uribe are born from broken padlocks and pins, sneakers and laces, felt-tip pens and pencils, slivers and old mops, washcloths and scraps of fabric. Probably, the artist is quite famous for his creative research, since he very often participates in exhibitions, and not only in his native Miami, but also in Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Canada. By the way, at the end of last year, another exhibition of sculptures by Federico Uribe entitled "Animal farm" took place in Latin America.
In addition to sculptures from everything that came to hand, Federico creates paintings and installations from laces, clothespins and clothesline scraps, and also works with sleeves, screws, bolts, screws and other small things that can be found in every man's garage.
A gallery of the artist's works can be viewed on his website.
