Guess what? Game art project Point of View by Fabio D'Altilla

The old anecdote about the doctor and his patient, who saw sex, blood or murder in every picture offered to him, is probably known to every reader of Kulturology.rf. "You have some suspicious set of pictures, doctor," the patient said at the end of the anecdote. This method, as a rule, is used in gestalt psychology, and on its basis the Italian artist created his project Fabio D'Altilia … The art project is called Point of view, and in it the viewer is asked to guess what exactly is depicted in a particular picture. Illustrations, made in a minimalistic style, hide not one, but two images at once, and two meanings. Like a double bottom suitcase. The most interesting thing, of course, is hidden in the most secret compartment of the suitcase, but how to know what exactly, and whether this secret will do more harm than the obvious? But curiosity usually outweighs, and people look at the pictures, determining what is depicted on them: the profile of an old woman, or a woman's chest, a tie, or a fountain pen?

The art project "Point of View", as the name Point of View can be translated, includes a series of such "double" illustrations, in the reading of which people may have significant disagreements. Depending on the perspective, the viewer can see two objects in one picture, and they are completely different both in semantic load and in style. And so that the spears do not break and arrows do not fly in vain, Fabio D'Altilla signed the correct answers under each poster-rebus.
