This guy is usually referred to as the “Artist from Seattle.” He works for a local newspaper and is busy sketching the life of the city in his notebook. The result is funny illustrations, which are doubly interesting to look at, precisely because these are real places and living people.

In the art world, of course, there is always a place for serious conceptual photography, large paintings and installations, but sometimes there is nothing better than a simple and vivid illustration that can bring a smile and drive away heavy thoughts. There are many such illustrators - there are, for example, Diogo Machado and his funny monster corporation, or Dick Daniels and his fun crazy day. Gabriel Campanario is one of those: in his illustrations, the life of Seattle seems so kind and kind, as if no one has any worries or any serious problems.

Gabriel Campanario is the so-called “Seattle Sketcher”, which can be translated as “an artist from Seattle”, but something like “Sketcher from Seattle” would be more correct. He works for the local newspaper "Seattle times", on the website of which you can see the artist's blog, updated almost every day - after all, the life of the city is in full swing, and Gabriel will always find something to sketch. He also has a blog on the blogspot. Through him you can find out that he is a journalist and artist who moved to the United States in 1998 from Spain. I wonder if there is such a heading in any of our newspapers, and if not, why? I am sure many would be interested to observe people and their lives in this way in the strong arms of the city.
