They say that teenagers are restless, not purposeful, they have a wind in their heads and the only desire is to walk, watch TV and play on the computer. However, to Evan Bacon, A 13-year-old student from Texas, this does not apply: in order to build with bricks Lego Batman Sculpture life-size, he just needed to stock up on diligence, patience and dedication. The boy collected his superhero for several months, which took him 15,000 or 20,000 bricks. Despite its impressive size, Lego Batman is not heavy at all. His sculpture weighs only 27 kg because it is hollow inside. So the author will be able to transfer the superhero from place to place on his own. True, in parts, otherwise months of work will come to an end.
And the work turned out to be truly fundamental. This was appreciated by the jury of the Lego sculpture competition, and by spectators and connoisseurs of 3D art, so Evan Bacon received three prizes at once and, most importantly, the opportunity to be photographed with Adam West himself, the very first movie Batman. Well, shake his hand, of course. By the way, the actor himself was amazed at the realism of the Lego sculpture of a teenager, and promised him a great future.
However, films and comics about Batman are not the only hobby of the boy. So, he learns to work with Autodesk's Maya and 3DS Max programs, studies programming, and at one time was a beta tester of Lego Universe products. He has been enthusiastically constructing his Lego sculptures since he was six, and even created his own website Baconbricks, where you can admire his present and future achievements in this area.
