The unique, rich, interesting and mystical world of the underwater kingdom is revealed to us by the work of photojournalist Brian Skerry, who specializes in photographing marine life. Prize-winning photographer, Brian is known all over the world for the aesthetic perception of the picture, as well as journalistic drive.
Brian Skerry has been a photographer for National Geographic Magazine since 1998. The photographer has the unique ability to capture and capture the most interesting pictures in stark contrasting environments - from tropical coral reefs to Arctic glaciers. In pursuit of subjects for his work, he lived at the bottom of the sea, spent many months abroad sailing on fishing boats, traveled on everything from snowmobiles and canoes to helicopters in order to take photographs. Over the past thirty years, he has spent over 15,000 hours underwater.
The master's photographs combine a fascinating picture and scientific knowledge, environmental problems, a unique historical perspective and a funny sense of humor of a photographer who takes us on a tour of sunken ships and introduces us to mystical sea monsters.
His photographs, one of a kind, tell stories that not only glorify the secrets and beauty of the sea, but also help draw attention to a range of issues that threaten the seas and oceans and their inhabitants. After three decades of exploring the world's oceans, Skerry continues to take photos that will raise awareness of the sea and its inhabitants.
“The ocean is in trouble. There are a number of serious problems that, in my opinion, are not clear to people. My goal is to constantly find new ways to create paintings and stories that at the same time glorify the sea and highlight environmental issues. Photography can be an influential tool that can change the world,”says the famous photojournalist.
