And he is deeply convinced that he has all this. Motohiko Odani was born and raised in Japan, studied at the Tokyo Institute of Fine Arts and can rightfully be considered a professional artist and sculptor who found his calling and determined his future destiny. Over the shoulders of Odani more than 30 group and about 10 solo exhibitions, as well as cooperation with famous Japanese and world celebrities of the world of fashion and beauty. Although not all of Odani's projects can be called beautiful. Original, unusual, conceptual, yes. But beautiful?
The author says that he strives to convey dynamics, speed, movement and reincarnation in static sculptures, drawing inspiration from the work of Umberto Boccioni, an Italian futurist sculptor from the 19th century who also tried to "revive" sculptures and used combinations of various materials in his work. For Motohiko Odani, these materials are paraffin, steel and fiber-reinforced plastic, which makes some monuments look like living things until you get close to them and take a good look.
